Today, my daughter received her PH passport with her visa stamp. Monday they will do CFO-PDOS, then we will purchase her airline ticket.

Does your daughter have to do PDOS with an online session?  On June 10th, they told me this via Facebook messenger?

Assuming your step daughter has an immigrant/permanent resident visa, she only need to register because the peer counseling seminar for 13-19 years is currently suspended until further notice. thank you.

Have they restarted actual sessions for the 13-19 year olds?

My daughter did her PDOS yesterday. It was a very fast and easy process. I took less than 3 hours to receive the barcoded temporary certificate that she needs to show the Bureau of Immigration at NAIA.

UPDATE: We bought my daughter's ticket on Philippines Airlines on PR!02 for Tuesday, September 21 from Manila to LA. For anyone that this might help, this is the process we took.

1. Buy and print your Electronic Ticket

2. 5 days prior to your departure, you must fill up PAL's Passenger Profile and Health Declaration form: https://bit.ly/PALIntPPHD

3. Once you have received your QR code via email, follow the instructions in the email you received - you need to pay for your COVID test. (this is if you want to do your test with PAL's accredited testing center in Ermita, Manila). Cost is around P3000 for RT-PCR test, and P700 for the Antigen test. Either is valid for travel to USA.

4. Fill out online Los Angeles Traveler Health Form: https://travel.lacity.org/

5. Personally appear for your COVID test within 3 days prior to your flight.

6. Download and install the contact tracing app Traze: https://www.traze.ph/

7. Fill out Bureau of Immigration Travel Declaration and Acceptance of Terms and Risk form: https://marsmantravel.com.ph/wp-content/uploads/Travel-Declaration-and-Acceptance-of-Terms-and-Risks-Form.pdf

8. Bring Temporary Certificate in lieu of Passport Sticker for Pre Departure Orientation Seminar from the Commission on Filipinos Overseas

  • 5 months later...

FINAL UPDATE for daughter: My daughter has received her US passport and we have been instructed to return her green card to USCIS along with the photo page of her passport.

UPDATE for wife: During medical exam prior to interview, the chest X-ray indicated a possibility of TB. So, we have to wait 2 months for cultures to come back. FYI, sent her for Xpert MTB/RIF test and all was clear, but US embassy requires this 2 months. Her medical exam is scheduled to resume/be completed on 4/18.
