Has any foreigner travelled through LAX?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has recently travelled through Los Angeles International Airport in California and could share their experiences.

My fiancé is travelling from the Philippines to visit me in Illinois.  However, she does have a layover at LAX in California.  There is an advisory that all incoming passengers must sign that they should 14-day quarantine upon arrival at LAX.  However, it is very vague and just enforces the actual signing of the travel advisory than actually enforcing quarantine. It also doesn't mention if this applies to people with layovers in LAX and not actually leaving the airport.  I assume there are many people that transfer through LAX and the advisory is hard to implement for those folks.

Thanks,

-Kris

There will NOT be any quarantine police chasing her around the airport

YMMV

Hello! This may help.

REFERENCE:LAX Official Site | Travel Safely (flylax.com)

Try reading this link: LAX Official Site | Travel Safely (flylax.com) Also, make sure to read the mandatory form required in this link: Mandatory Travel Advisory Form.

Guests arriving into LAX from other countries or states are required to complete a mandatory form acknowledging that they have read and understood California’s travel advisory. Travelers over the age of 16 must submit this form online prior to or upon arrival at Los Angeles International Airport, Van Nuys Airport, or Union Station. Failure to submit the form is punishable by a fine of up to $500.

The form can be found here, or for more information click here.
