Nowhere in my message I said that this is what I did for a k1, I am speaking about my ROC and I didn't even need an interview. Everyone's experience is different, I had a strong case so bank statements were not as important.

Sorry minemar.  Your profile says K-1, and I made an incorrect assumption.

We of course sent ALL bank statements. Both from our joint checking account,  savings accounts and joint credit cards accounts. Nobody has been denied or RFEd for sending too much evidence, tons of people are however denied and RFEd for not sending enough. It's a personal choice, we chose not to take any chances and sent absolutely everything.

Our regular checking account was 6-8 pages a month alone. I have still seen ROC packages a lot bigger than the one we sent in.

Hello everyone,

I’m preparing my I-751 with supporting and the packages is getting quite big! I printed bank statements for the past 3 years (since the day of marriage) and it’s like 3-4 pages per month. 300 pages only bank statements! Is that normal?

I might have to use a box to send it out!

My package was quite big as well, most of it consisted of bank statements. It's better to send them everything, this is high quality evidence.

I agree. It won't hurt to send every statement and you might or might not get a RFE if you only send a few.

Our immigration lawyer recommends sending statements joint accounts for each quarter, not each month.

The I-751 instructions are pretty clear, although they are subject to personal interpretation and judgment based on the unique circumstances of your relationship and its history.  There is no mention of a maximum number of pages:

Evidence of the Relationship

Submit copies of documents indicating that the marriage upon which you were granted conditional status was entered in “good faith” and was not for the purpose of circumventing immigration laws. Submit copies of as many documents as you can to establish this fact, to demonstrate the circumstances of the relationship from the date of the marriage to the present date, and to demonstrate any circumstances surrounding the end of the relationship, if it has ended. The documents should include, but are not limited to, the following examples: 1. Birth certificates of children born during the time of this marriage, if any; 2. Lease or mortgage contracts showing joint occupancy and/or ownership of your communal residence; 3. Financial records showing joint ownership of assets and joint responsibility for liabilities, such as joint savings and checking accounts with transaction history, complete joint Federal and State tax returns, insurance policies that show the other spouse as the beneficiary, joint utility bills, or joint installment or other loans. If applicable, submit copies of military Leave and Earnings Statements showing receipt of Basic Allowance for Quarters (BAQ) with family members and/or Form DD-1172 for military family member identification cards;

To be fair, here on VJ we do see a ton of bad advice given by laywers pretty often. Not saying your particular lawyer doesn't know what he's talking about, just saying that just because someone uses the title "immigration lawyer" doesn't always mean they're actually doing things right.

I think a decent package is good. But definitely not 300 pages.

My ROC package was just a flat-A4 size enveloped. Few bank statements, IRS Transcripts, insurance, lease. That's all. Surprisingly, I always store all these records somewhere to help VJers. I have looked and do not know where I stored my ROC package, though I even remember printing it twice as a well as the day and date I mailed it. I am now at the N400 stage

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Certainly send a few spanning the life of marriage. I didn't send that with mine, I only sent a few and didn't get a rfe but I wouldn't recommend it. Think about your package as painting a picture. Be strategic and consider all the details of your case.

I sent two affidavits

A few bank statements

A few photos including some with family and friends and in different countries on trips we took.... Also probably helps that they can see we traveled together quite a few times

Evidence we share car and health insurance.

Good luck.
