How to talk to a person at USCIS customer service (edited title)

"Lost receipt" worked for us this morning, no wait time. Called around 8:45am.

None of these work anymore. I have no idea how to get a human anymore to get an Infopass appointment. If you say "Infopass" and then say something like "need document" or "operator" it will tell you to go to the website (will offer to email or text) or it will automatically disconnect you.

What's the point of having a phone number if they're not taking calls anyway? 🙄

You basically have to have a receipt number and then input it. If you say "lost receipt" or "no receipt number" it will still ask for the number. If you say "Infopass" it will ask what is the reason you need an appointment. If you don't say whatever specific keyword they want (I don't know what it is) it'll just offer you the website and then auto disconnect you.

 

"Technical assistance" now routes to "Contact us on our website" and then auto disconnects.

And even if you have a receipt number and insert it, you still only get to talk to a robot. There's no point for them to even have a phone number or customer service, since they clearly don't take any calls anyway.

I assume there must be a way to make an Infopass appointment with some specific keyword, because you can't make them online anymore. Only option is to call that same number.
