MRV Fee Question

So the NVC recently sent our application to the embassy (Armenia). We then received an email from the embassy asking for my fiancée's email address so they could send her the invitation letter. We sent the completed DS-160 later that day, after I received this email.

She hasn't received the invitation letter and I was wondering if I should pay the MRV fee now or wait to receive the invitation letter from the embassy. Not sure if there is a necessary order to this process.

Thank you very much for any advice.

Couple of items to consider/correct. First, your profile on the left-hand column indicates you are interviewing in Iran, but you state that the file was sent to Armenia. You should update your profile so it reflects the country in which you will interview. We use that as an indicator when we go to answer your questions. Each embassy is different in their process's.

Second. The DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application can be completed any time prior to paying the MRV.

Third. Pay your fee following these instructions that come straight from your embassy.

A Non-refundable and non-transferable application fee for a (K) Fiancé visa ($265) can be paid by Credit Card or by Cash using the following website: https://usvisa-info.com/ or https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-AM/iv. All Visa applicants, including children, are required to pay the application fee.    If paying by cash create a user account on GSS website, continue with the flow of the website until you arrive at the Payment page and select “Pay by Cash”; download, print and follow the Cash payment instruction sheet.  Payment should be made in person at any branch of the Ardshininvestbank.
