Discussions of Trump's post-presidency future tend to go nowhere because Trump "all but shuts down," CNN reports. "In his moments of deepest denial, Trump has told some advisers that he will refuse to leave the White House on Inauguration Day, only to be walked down from that ledge. The possibility has alarmed some aides, but few believe Trump will actually follow through."

The President has been fed so much disinformation from his own advisors that he seems to have completely bought in to his own propaganda that he actually won the election. I don't think anyone seriously believes he'll hunker down in the White House, but it goes to show just how unhinged he's become to even consider it an option.

This is an opportunity, not a problem.

We just need to put him on a jet with air force one paint and tell him the inauguration has been moved to mar-a-lago.  Rudy can swear him in as the new attorney general/Chief justice.

Tell him for his safety we will be moving the Whitehouse there. We will even set up a special 24x7 feed of Fox and friends with tailor made news. Probably best he doesn't leave the campus though, he has everything he needs right there.  Golf, Ketchup with steak anything he needs just pick up the phone. We can paint the walls that special shade if blue they use in sanatoriums.

Things are good in Trumpiverse.  Rudy might want to stay as well.

And so the taxpayers don't have to pay for it, weekly rallies for his most ardent supporters. Put in turnstiles and charge admission just like Disney World.

This could work.

I actually don't really buy this. It has nothing to do with 'buying into his own propaganda'. Again this is the way he was raised to think naturally and the experiences he grew up in religiously. He will outwardly project something that he knows is not true, on purpose - with the hopes it will make it true with 'positive thinking'. This is all about projecting it to supporters and keeping afloat for the next big scheme. It is doubtful he'd want to be seen being dragged out of the WH.

Yeah, I agree he won't hunker down in the WH and refuse to leave. And I agree too hat he was raised to believe winning is everything, and any less makes you a loser. His father was a monster, and it's tragic that he raised his own child to become so dysfunctional and unable to cope with reality.

But I don't think it's a stretch to believe that he's drunk his own koolaid so much that he actually believes in his heart of hearts the election was fraudulent and stolen from him, and not that he's just spinning a narrative because it's good theater. We've seen over the last four years, and even some of his advisors have said, Trump is easily led to whatever conclusion the person standing in front of him wants him to believe, especially when it feeds his ego. Guilliani and OAN and whoever else telling him it was fraud over and over, with nobody else around him to provide the real narrative, just feeds that psychosis. The man disgusts me, and I find it very hard to sympathize with him, but I do hope that even at his age he's able to get some kind of professional help for his psychosis. I don't think it will ever happen, but then I didn't think he'd win in 2016 either.

Oh yeah. I mean, As much as I don't think it will happen, I'd buy the HD version of the Pay Per View if it did. I'd even spring for the fancy brand name popcorn instead of Kirkland brand.
