Had your interview been cancelled in March?

I thought K1 usually scheduled their own interviews

No...some embassies schedule the interview for the applicant while others allow applicants to schedule their own.

You're correct at most embassies/consulates (including Moscow, which is what matters for you); only a handful schedule K-1 interviews rather than letting the applicant schedule them.

Much congratulations!  May I ask how long/ how many months did it take from the initial mail in submission of your i-129F Fiance petition ?  I understand that each case is different but just an idea..

There is a great tool to use and that is the "timeline" link in their profile on the left-hand column. There, if properly completed you can attain answer to your "how long" questions. In the case of your question use their "timeline" question.

 

You may want to help yourself out with the completion of your timeline and profile. We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.
 
So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.
