Hello friends!

Our cases are at NVC stage now. Got DQ on December 4 which was very fast. Just waiting for the interview date now.

Do you have any idea how the embassy is working now? Do they work on CR1 visas? Does anyone have an interview in January/February?

Thank you in advance

Per this page, they seem to still be processing immigrant visas: https://ua.usembassy.gov/visas/

But they do not say it explicitly, so I'm not sure.

We're about to pay the MRV, which would give us access to the interview calendar. We're applying for a K visa so our chances aren't good right now, but maybe we can just see what it looks like.

Thank you for your reply. Wishing you good luck with scheduling your interview!

On January 8 Ukraine is entering strict lockdown which will last till January 24. Maybe after this date they will resume visa issuance. We will see.

I know one girl who was summoned by the embassy with a letter for an interview on her К1 visa on January 27th. She had her approval in February 2020, but many girls are still waiting, so I don't know the details. But the embassy is working and I think that you, too, will soon receive a letter from the embassy)))

So we've paid the fee and checked, but nothing is available for us unfortunately.

Here's to hoping your IR-1/CR-1 is still eligible for interviews!

Thank you for your input! My husband is planning to contact the embassy after the holidays. I will post about it here as well. Happy holidays 🎉

Our Fiance K1-Visa application was received by the USCIS around August 24,2020 and we read on the site that the embassy site in Kyiv that they have stopped processing since NOV 16, do you have any idea when they might continue conducting interviews for K1 visa

I am sorry you have been waiting for so long to get your interview. The embassy website says that they can not provide specific date for resuming routine visa service.

My guess is that it might happen in February. Amount of new cases has dropped, lockdown will be over. But again, these are  only my assumptions.
