Hello Everyone,

My husband and I are waiting for news about our I-130 Application, sent on the 13th of May 2020 via online. We keep seeing the estimated processing times for our the Nebraska service center evolving (currently July 2nd) yet we have received no news of any kind since the NOA1 (received within 24 hours after our application)
Is this normal without any updates? VJ estimated our case should be adjudicated between  August 23, 2020 and September 29, 2020, and we have recevied our weekly emails from VJ stating it should have arrived late October . Of course, we understand each case varies but all of these estimations are confusing us.
Should we try to contact USCIS? We have already tried contacted them via the inbox of our myUSCIS account for a problem of changing our mailing address with no luck. If we can contact by phone, does anybody know where?

Thank you in advance,
-Florine & Luke

We are also May online filers.  Unfortunately for both of us, the current estimate for I-130 processing at Nebraska SC for spouse of USC is 7 to 9.5 months, which means our cases are still within normal processing time -- https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

While VJ estimates (based on data entered by members) can be a good indication of actual wait times, USCIS refers to their own estimate.

This is probably not much comfort but know that at least you are not alone.

Thank you Chancy for your post, you are absolutely correct. Thank you for the link! We were starting to get worried when comparing ourselves to the data on this website.
Good luck!

Good news! We received our NOA2 on the 18th of December! We did not receive a notice by mail or email.
We found out the good news on the 24th, due to the NVC notifying us of the reception of our file!

Happy holidays!

Thank you Florence !

No, we haven't completed the Affidavit of Support section yet, so our file has yet to be tranferred. We are hoping to complete the AoS section by the end of February. We are not in a major rush because as of now, we are planning on moving this summer.

Best of luck for your process! I'll keep an eye on your timeline to see what to expect :)
