Your post is not clear. When did you get your green card? Did you apply for naturalization already as a spouse of USC (in which case no it’s not valid if 3 year rule and you are no longer married to USC) or are you planning to apply under 5 year rule?  This is a separate issue from sponsoring a spouse and stepchild. Why do you think those might get denied?
