How does the Sydney Consulate contact the beneficiary?

I see on the I-129f they have my address and mobile number but everyone seems to be contacted via email.

How do they contact the beneficiary to send P3 and schedule the interview just based off the I-129f?

My husband received the packet, in the mail.

Thank you for the answer. How long after it was delivered to the consulate did it arrive?

I’m going away for two weeks and it was delivered to the consulate yesterday I’m worried about missing it.

It left NVC on March 19, 2019, was received by the consulate on March 25, Packet 3 was sent on March 26, and my husband (then fiance) received it on March 29 - so 10 days after leaving NVC. It was a huge sudden rush.  His interview was scheduled for April 9!  We were expecting a longer wait, but this was great! He was here, in my arms, on April 24! Sorry, I know I've gone beyond your question, but it's still so exciting to think about!

@Joyoussinger @thisisnotnormal Wondering if it is mail you have to sign for/pick up at the post office? Now that you mention it, my partner is going down south for Christmas to his brothers. I didn't even think about that

No signature was required, and it was delivered to his house with the rest of his mail.

@jessicamolley they ended up contacting my fiancée, the us citizen’s email asking for us to confirm our details.

@thisisnotnormal and @jessicamolley

Looks like we got the same email at the same time. Did they also mention the earliest appointments are end of Jan 2021?

I'm hoping the NSW VIC border restrictions don't impact this!

Wishing you luck!

Hey! They did! I hope we all hear fairly soon and the holidays don't delay things too much. My partner is in Brisbane, so I hope QLD/NSW stays good, he is headed to NSW end of Jan anyway for his Grandmas 80th so that would work out great for us, LOL.

Yep. I hope that border only stays closed once they get on top of this outbreak, I’m in Brisbane too and honesty I hope they don’t make restrictions at the consulate because of the dangers of spreading there.

Yeah, I was just looking it up and it says as of now, just the Sydney Northern Beaches area is the hotspot. Hopefully it'll stay like that and not spread to create any more closures.
