Hello all. My fiance from southern Philippines was approved for a K1 visa last February. Then, as the visa was being processed, the lockdown started. In July it was finally sent by courier from Manila to her home. It took 3 weeks! By then, the visa had only 9 days remaining before expiration. There weren't even any flights to Manila when she received it. Subsequent communication with the embassy asked to explain why it's not due to our negligence that we allowed it to expire. Many follow-ups, but nothing. I sent her to Manila on November 30th after an immigration agency stated they could get us a renewed medical. This was false nformation. No check up was done. The agency seems unable to further assist regarding a renewed medical and visa for her to fly out. Anybody know what else can be done?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

You don't need a renewed medical,  you need a completely new medical.   As you are finding out, the reissuance of the visa (not renewed) will be at the consulates discretion.   If they agree to reissue,  it will require a new application,  nbi, cenomar, etc etc. Etc.

Likely won't get any action until resumption of routine visa services
