sorry i am not sure what you are talking about!

You really need to read the guides here on VJ and the instructions on USCIS.gov.

Can I please have help with this?

Recently in the usa on a k1 fiancee visa and just got married!

In my adjustment of status form its asking me for my receipt number of underlying petition.

should I be putting my original uscis receipt number in there, or my case number, or leave it blank?

Thank you so much. I find all of this so confusing so i have to ask for help on here where people have experience.

SIDE Note:I am new to this forum so I dont know how to merge topics, also if you can help it please do not be rude or what not i just need urgent answers because i have had an extremely stressful year just getting to the USA to get married and did the entire thing by myself, so i just need some help in regards to my adjustment of status without having to dig for answers online. I am here for the knowledge, the fast responses of trustworthy info. I do not want to read through long detailed novels online just want some help to assist with my complete overwhelm. thank you xx

I also have a question about filling out Form I-485.

There is a question about Public Charge/Self-sufficiency: (see inserted image)

I am the Petitioner, my husband is the Beneficiary.  My income meets/exceeds the guidelines for not needing an additional Sponsor.  I have already added him to my insurance and filled out the I-864 prior to his Embassy interview, just because I wanted to have all documentation ready.

So how do I answer this proposed question on the I-485?  Are we exempt from the Public Charge?  What are "grounds of inadmissiblilty"?

Make sure the 864 is the latest edition. They realesed new versions in the past few months, and since you said you filled it out before the embassy Interview, it might be an old version.
