Hello all:

I just noticed something with my father's (my co-sponsor for I-134) green card . In the green card his name reads as "Prasad, Sudnagunta A" where prasad is the last name sudnagunta first name and A (Anil ) middle name. But, in all his other documents like tax returns, employer records, bank records, it reads as "Prasad, Anil S", where the middle name in the green card became first name, and vice versa. I am getting worried if they would make this a big deal becasue names differ in the green card and the tax returns. Does anybody have any suggestions on what can be done? If I get a notarized signature on the copy of the green card, would it be ok?

Thank you

You will be fine. Perhaps, when your dad filled out W-4 form, somehow his first name went to his middle name and vice versa. He can fix that by filing out another W-4. Same thing, might have happened with his bank record. But, all these should not have any bearing on the visa process. He can just write an email about it to the Embassy, if you are very worried.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Thank you simple_male. Actually, I found my father's expired green card which has his full name mentioned and also his old passport with A # which he got at POE. So, I scanned these and sent them to my husband. Hope this should be ok.
