Canada Post Delays k1 visa package still not received

Hello all so I’m curious as to if there is much more to be done than what I have done. 
 

I interviewed at Montreal November 18th. Approved. K1 visa package left Montreal December 1st. Last scan shows it arriving and leaving Burnaby on the 5th. First and second delivery standard date 4th and 8th missed with no info since except “item delayed- stay tuned for details.” Which it has maintained since the 9th. 
 

I called customer service on the 10th and a lovely agent made a service ticket due to the nature of the documents. It will take effect on the 17th if no progress has been made on my package. 
 

Is there anything else I can do? Should I notify the CSRA unit in Montreal that this has happened? I know there is not much they can probably do... and I 100% understand the postal system is beyond its capacity due to the holidays and covid but... I’m at a loss and I’m extremely stressed out not having this safe in my hands right after waiting for so long for that interview... my life is in the package... 

 

any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Did you end up getting your passport? I was in a similar situation... visa sent on November 23 and wasn’t delivered until dec. 11. My Canada post tracking didn’t even update at all until it was delivered.
