Hi:)

I sent my EAD renewal documents in Aug 2020 but I did my i-485 interview in Nov 2020 and now I have a green card. (The green card was delivered on Dec 3rd)

I just found out my i-765 status was changed “Biometrics appointment was scheduled”

and the date is weird
Do I have to call USCIS or just ignored this because I already have a green card?🤔

Same thing happened to my wife when we did AOS interview and received green card before renewal of EAD AP. You will get a notice in the mail saying we canceled your renewal because you already have a green card. It's standard government procedure to do everything as backwards as possible, and waste as many resources as possible. How else can they justify the next cost increase.

Same thing happened to me last month. In my case I'll attend the biometrics though, hoping they apply it to my I-90 as well. But if everything is right with your green card, you can just ignore and don't go.

That's Fantastic. Our USCIS is completely a broken organization. they are good at wasting precious resources like biometrics appointments during COVID

It seems most every time I read your comment on things, you put down USCIS in a negative manner. I think we should be positive and encourage others during their waiting periods. Visa Journeys are sometimes long, but we all have to go through it.
