She said she wants to wait but I think time will tell and we will have to weigh our options while she is here on her business visa.

Overlooked this initially in the concern about what she’s doing on a B visa

You can “weigh your options” without pressuring her into marriage. Immigration laws make it more complex, yes, but jumping into marriage can create other issues, especially with the laborious US immigration system, even if it superficially seems to “solve” one.  So many posts on VJ about regrets of rushing into things\choosing AOS when confronted by big issues created by the immigration process :(

She works from home during COVID so shed be working here. I spoke with the apartment and I would be able to remove her if I needed to. As long as her job is WFH shed be ok. But I would also be able to support her.

Without a work permit, she is not allowed to work at all.  Including FH.

She is on a business/visitor visa so from what she said she can at least work for the time being. She has a brother here in the US and friends. I have known her for 4 years and we have been together for one. She said she wants to wait but I think time will tell and we will have to weigh our options while she is here on her business visa.

You need to do some research and become educated about what is and is not allowed.  The key to a successful immigration journey is understanding the process.

Is she already here? I’m re-reading your posts and it’s seems ambiguous as to whether she’s already here or not. You say “she would be on a business visa”. That implies she’s not here yet.

It’s completely against the rules of the B-1/B-2 to come here with the intent to adjust status.
