Renewing Nexus card

Hi everyone!

My nexus card is about to expire in May and have been looking to renew it for a while. I'm in the process of removing conditions (applying for the 10 year green card) and have gotten a 18 month extension in the mean time.

In the application, it asks for the expiry date of my green card and because it is expired. I am not sure which expiry date to include?

Thank you so much!

I would think it would be the date on your expired GC plus the 18 months based on the extension letter.

Good Luck!

I'm in the same situation as you @Bracey.  My Nexus expires in June 2021 and Nexus has my expired GC on file.  I've submitted ROC in November 2019 and my case got transferred from CSC to National Benefits Center in December 2020.  I'm hoping to get the 10 year GC before starting the renewal process....

However, I can only wait so long before renewing (with 10 year GC or not)... I believe updating GC information requires an in-person appointment at an Enrollment Center (which I've read that they are closed at least until early February 2021).  I've tried researching online but I'm unable to find any info on how renewals would be handled during COVID times if appointments/interviews are required.  Does anyone know?  I'm currently in LA.

Thank you!
