We are grateful our case is now “in transit”. I have done the DHL hack and it says the shipment is “7 pieces”. My question is, is that 7 boxes of K1s or only 7 individual K1s?

7 boxes, probably. Back in the pre-corona times when our case got sent to Moscow the DHL hack came back with one or two pieces, and I'm sure ours wasn't the only one (or even one of two) in that two-week block.

Neither, as no k1s have been issued yet

YMMV

K1's are being processed in Australia. Have been since September.

Our K1 visa is also in this same shipment.

No visas in the shipment,  NVC doesn't issue visas.  Maybe the i129f petition in the package but certainly not any visas.

YMMV

Those are "records". So, seven different pieces, one for each applicant, has been sent on that shipment. There is no way of knowing if one of them is yours but with a little detective work you will know more.

I talk about all the steps what the activity will look like on CEAC and the DHL hack plus other notable information for your process. See the PDF file on the first page, first post on any of the monthly NOA2 from USCIS to NVC to Embassy threads. I usually recommend the month that you received your NOA2 so you can be within a group of others with your same month to determine which way the wind is blowing. Look for the month threads here K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports - VisaJourney

Also, :time:thanks.

To be more up to date with what embassies are process K-1's as there are more than you can count on your two hands at this time with more coming onboard. We are seeing activity with South Korea, Vietnam and Australia to name a few. Use this link if you want to know more. U.S. Visas (state.gov) If your query returns 999 then they are not processing that category of visa.

Also, :time:thanks.

Thanks for the reply, yep one of them is mine and a couple other people on here. I just wanted to confirm because it makes a big difference re interview scheduling.

Also my timeline is filled in and btw yes I used your sheet sheet to learn about the DHL hack but it doesn’t mention anything about what “pieces” means.

I didn't drill down that far in my explanation. Only you have asked about whether this is pieces, packages, cases, trunks, chests, suitcases or what not. :reading:Thanks for your timeline update.
