National Visa letter saying file moved to Amman. Was completed and sent on 12/16/05.

Received packet from embassy at my attorney's January 15, 2006

Packet mailed to my husband on January 22, 2006

Packet received by embassy on February 5, 2006.

Embassy called in April and set the interview date for August 23, 2006

Embassy called on 7-25 and asked Faisal to interview on 7-26 (nervous wreck but prepared)

7-26-06 Faisal is approved for K3 Visa

8-24-06, Faisal arrives at O'Hare Airport!!!!!!!

EAD filed in middle of September, 2006 approved in middle of October, 2006 and husband working

at end of October, 2006!

AOS I485

5-2-07- Noa1 on AOS

5-18-07-fingerprinting completed

5-25-07-letter received from USCIS from Missouri asking for proof of income from cosponsor.

AOS INTERVIEW SET FOR SEPTEMBER 5, 2007 IN CHICAGO

Thanks so much guys! I was reading this other thread earlier today where someone said that the smileys people send are so meaningless. I can't tell you how much it means to me to have this support here, its not bcz I'm insecure, its just good to know you have people around you that understand because my family and my friends don't realize just how important it is to get touched :D LOL that sounds totally wrong but you know what I mean!

If you look at your online case status, you can see the date the case was last updated... or "touched"

October 2006 - 2 year green card received!

July 15, 2008 - Sent in I-751

July 22, 2008 - I-751 NOA

The thing about being 'touched" is the date changes but the status does not change. Everytime they do some kind of internal processing the date changes.

I wish! Only some offices give you a touch. Our RFE still hasn't showed up online as a touch yet. I'm glad you got one though, you certainly have been waiting long enough.

Oops, I meant I'm glad you got a touch, not an RFE! I sure hope you don't get one of those!

LOL! I was going to ask that same question. We just got out NOA1 a couple of days ago and it didnt occur to me until today that I had no idea how the magical touch occured. But now I know :) , thanks kerewin. And thanks to layla for bringing it up, welcome to me/na. Im tickled pink to see a new face :D

BTW- Also TY honeyblonde... Im part of the group now! Yayyyyyyy!
