Hi everyone ,i am new to this forum, I received email that my interview got scheduled on 3rd December, I am waiting for my appointment letter because my wife is out of country so i need to arrange her return, is there any way if i called field office will they let me know my interview date, because i called ucics and agent was so rude and he said we cannot tell you about your interview date. Any advise guys ,i wil be very thank full to you.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

12/31/2014: Fingerprinted

02/06/2015: In-Line for Interview

04/15/2015: Passed Interview

05/05/2015: Oath letter was sent

05/22/2015: Oath Ceremony

Then get your wife back on the next flight. With how slow mail delivery has been, coupled with the fact that it is Christmas, you may get the letter near the interview date. So her being back ASAP will at least help the situation.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.
