We brought copies of everything we sent in and even more stuff 🙂 Photos of us, bills, insurance anything showing us as a couple we brought with us.

You dont need to bring in the i130 and all those filled in again?

just like the proof documents right?

I brought everything, this is the US government, they lose everything all the time and ask for the silliest of things. We kept detailed copies and brought everything. Its a better to have it all than get a RFE while in your last step of this process.

Side note, when we had our interview, he takes out this huge book, must have been about 8 inches thick, i lean over the desk and its our life in there. literally everything we ever sent in and all the paperwork and notes the USCIS put in there. I asked to see it and he let us, it was amazing to see all our life on paper and how it was documented and the notes from some of the examiners. I really wish we could file a form to have a copy of that book.

On the interview notice it does mention you need to bring copies of the whole package you sent in originally.  I guess its for just in case they are lost in transaction

I did anyways~

my interviewer didnt ask for those. I asked if she needs to see the original documents and she said no~
