How long does it usually take for the embassy to process additional documents after an interview?

Hi all,

I really hope someone might be able to give an estimate just for peace of mind.

So, I had the interview but was refused because I did not upload my deed poll (though gave it to them in the interview) on-line or have my previous name on the police certificate.  They kept my passport and told me to what I need to do. Since then, I've sent the embassy a new police certificate and uploaded the deed poll.

Does anyone have any experience or estimate for how long it takes for things to be processed in such situations. It has so far been a week since all documents have been submitted.

It does depend on how long it takes for an officer to get back to your case. You sorta got out of the queue and are at the mercy of somebody picking you up out to the “to do” basket and putting you back in the processing queue. I would estimate for London that you should have your passport/visa back in no more than another week, probably before the weekend..
