Hi community,

Anxious waiter here: We mailed in our 1-130 mid-June 2020 to AZ (Texas processing center) and we have no received an NOA yet, or any notice besides the initial "accepted:processing...." 

 

Is this normal for 2020 filers? My friends in the same boat who applied around the same time in the same country (Senegal) already got their NOA's a couple months ago.

  • I-130 received in Phoenix June 11 2020
  • I-130 approved January 14th, 2021. NVC received Jan 17th 2021
  • NVC application filed,, docs submitted, and fees paid Feb 4th, 2021

According to data from other VJ members, it is normal.  From the VJ processing Times page, it appears, Texas is working on late March 2020 right now.

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
