not sure on the official policy but we had our interview a few days ago and no documentation was ever asked for or looked at. We gave the Ds-160 and they took off the receipt of that but that was it. In and out in about 15-20 minutes.  Never looked at the I-134, pay stubs, bank statements, employment letter, 3 years of tax returns, brokerage accounts, retirement accounts and on and on.

Normal, for a k1 they request it maybe 10% of the time.  I was one of the 10%.

YMMV

In the past there have been CO at the USEM that have stated that I-134 was never really ever a required paperwork, even though some checklist have said to include it.

Who knows what the policy will be in a year

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I think it will be a long time before they start routine processing in the Philippines. I wouldnt be surprised to see this lockdown continue thru most of year 2021, and there will not be any routine K1 Visas.   The Philippines is under lockdown, and it seems the USEM will not open since most of the country is under lockdown.

This is a 3rd world country with corruption that runs deep in the politics and systemic poverty in the country,  This is by design by the government.

Right now US has given like 1 billion pesos for COVID, and that's only USA I am sure other countries have donated much money for COVID.  Where does all that money go? Right into the hands of the politicians all the way down to mayors of cities, they are going to play this COVID game out as long as they can so they can line their pockets.

Right mow large cities like Davao City have curfews, 24 hour liqour bans, last I heard under age 20 and over age 65 can't leave the house.  I am sure many other cities have followed suit.

As they saying goes "It More Fun In the Philippines"
