I-130 application delivered but no receipt yet

I submitted my son paper application through lockbox since November 15th 2020 got delivered at Phoenix lockbox on November 18th still yet to get a receipt notification or case number. 

 

How long do I have to wait?

It takes up to 8 weeks for receipt. Be patient, it just starts.

Ok then. Remember you can also check status online. Double check. It might say receipt was mailed or we have recieved ect. I would check just to make sure.

Where do I check the status without the receipt number or case status

Where do I check the status without receipt number or case status because I believe they should cash my check first then I will know something is done on it

I'm sorry but you cannot check without a receipt unless you call USCIS. Unless I have misspoken and someone else can clarify. As far as I know you have to call to check without a receipt.
