Here are some similar stories. You can see that the posters don’t usually return to give us an update, probably because the outcome is not good (the third one was denied a K-1 because of this):

Hello everyone.hope we all are safe. I have a fiance back in africa. I knew him before and we got separated. He found a new relationship with a lady and the lady happen to travel to the united states. The lady filed for K1 visa and later cancelled it because the lady found another guy in the united states and she has moved on. So i and my ex we reconciled. I travelled back to africa to see him and discuss some important issues. Before travelling to see him, he asked me if i will marry him and i accepted. He went and paid my bride price when i went for a visit. So when i came back to the united states, i filed for k1 visa. They refused him the k1 visa. He showed all the evidence and the officer was convinced. They denied him visa because of the previous relationship that filed for him. He also went to the us embassy in 2005 and the agent that was trying to get him visa said he was married with kids but he has never been married before and he do not have any kids. I am to go back to africa so we can get married. Do you think with all the evidences i will provide will help him get a visa. Please i need my husband to be close here with me. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Has any body been in same situation?

He sounds like a con man that will marry anyone that will get him access to USA.

If you can't move to be with him, consider dating a man here in the US.

And as always, OP ,though last seen 11 hours ago, has decided not to update us nor reply to the chat. Seems we were right on this one.

Sure bet they will be back months down the road with the same question or when they have dived into more murky waters.

Anyway, hopefully, one of these days, we will meet an OP who comes back with an update.

They do seem to come in batches, been a pretty busy week.

Yap. Saw the other one over the weekend. I was just too bored to reply. I think @HRQX did mention, on the second thread, that it was the second one we were getting within 24 hours.
