The one I want is about $400. Since winters here are more wet (occasionally) than cold, it suits pretty well thrown over a sweater for an extra layer. Also good for winter beach walks. I have a grand total of two coats, one mackintosh and one serious winter one for going to visit family in New England. I do like my mac, but it would be lovely to have something a little more casual.

And yes, it is a silly amount of money, I am very aware.

Here we need layers and the main issue and the one I am dealing with is cold wet feet due to failing to dig the truck out this afternoon.

Well i could afford a AOC sweatshirt without  financial embarrassment.

Anyway you friends, presumably they know what the additional amount they would like to pay is?

They don't want to pay less than the people who work for them or more than their competitors.

Well they do not have to, do they need help making the payment?

You have to get everyone to use the same rate schedule, it's not really like the tip jar for a barista.  You might tip more because you know I am a tightwad who won't tip and you don't think it is fair that the gal behind the counter suffers..but that won't scale when it comes to running a country.

This morning I passed a mile long Trump rally, they were out there with their lifted pickups and giant flags, Trump shirts, Trump hats, and a lifted Jeep even had a bunch of Trump balloons. Fortunately for me, they were only snarling opposite direction traffic. Made me think of this thread. I wonder how many of those people who had purchased hundreds of dollars of.Trump paraphernalia would jump on the “AOC is fleecing you” and “AOC sweatshirt is for rich people” bandwagon.

Good times.

Good times.

Since the end of the election todate, Trump's campaign has pulled in 240+ million and expended 8.8 million on these supposedly critical legal challenges to the election returns.  And that is not including flags and hats made in China and sold to the faithful.

Yeah, it’s objectively not AOC doing the fleecing. At least when you’re buying a sweatshirt from AOC you know what you’re buying and where the proceeds are going. I’d wager the majority of the people donating to the Trump legal fund have no idea that the vast majority of it is going straight into Trump’s coffers. And what makes me kind of sad is that, like many people who give to televangelist grifters, it’s very likely people contributing that can least afford it.
