Go to the VJ sub-forum for your embassy's country and there are many from Morocco that are talking about this same situation. You'll have better information there then posting it here.

Go to the blue ribbon above, select "forums" then scroll about three-fourths of the page down and select the region that most represents where your country is located.

At this point in time Casa is only doing a few new spouse interviews (VJ members with CR1 or IR1 new interviews will appear in the right hand column of the portal page)

embassy has been working during the covid time to do the AP holds for those already interviewed prior to March and April

when the backlog of spouse visas are done ,  they can start on the K1

BTW getting a K1 visa from Morocco is very difficult so at this time quit worrying about immigration

and use your time to talk (a lot) to each other and inform the immigrant of every aspect of the life of the USC to have a good interview

i hope you have no red flags like big age difference or just one meeting together as this is something to overcome

anytime you want to know if new K1 or CR1 visas are getting approved for your embassy ,  check the following site  October stats are out now

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-statistics.html

NIV is for non immigrant like K1 and tourist

IV is for immigrant like CR1 spouse and family

all embassies and all visa categories are listed there

first check if they are interviewing k1 applicants at this time ,if they are then go ahead and schedule your interview yourself, by filling the ds 160 and paying the visa fee. Waiting for embassy to schedule you as k1 is waste of time.

they are not doing any K1 interviews /  they are not sending them from NVC to embassy

and they have a backlog of K1's there to do from before the covid that were cancelled and are on hold at embassy

untill you get notice that your case has been sent.,  you can not do a things

Did you receive notice to do the DS 160?

Did you receive notice to get the 2 criminal reports?

Have you been told to schedule an interview?

late information,   they have only been doing spouse interviews (very few new ones as they are working on the spouse visas held up in AP)
