The "caterwauling" about the transition is because every president in history has immediately begun the transition when the election was called. Defend Trump's "right" to do it if you want, but it's unprecedented and people and the media responded in kind.

 

wrt to Flynn's ridiculous comments, I haven't heard or read that Trump is considering marshal law, but based on his erratic behavior it wouldn't exactly surprise me. Still, Trump is a coward by nature. If I were to place a bet, I don't think even he would try to double down that hard.

 

 

  Have you heard the softballs that have been lobbed at our future President, and how everyone with a few exceptions treated President Obama?  Yeah, I always here is it Trump's fault because he is uncouth and unlikeable, and not DC elite material, still not a reason for the WH correspondents to bring out their inner political activism.  Btw, there is no need for some (not sure it was smoke filled unless they were smoking marijuana) cabal to get together, the Leftist activism is already in the MSM.  Have you heard the tapes from the CNN meetings?

 

No one stopped Biden from doing transition work when the media called it, not really sure what the issue was there.  The GSA would certainly reimburse any relevant expenditures if and when it was needed, but of course we continued to get all the TDS from the media.

I don't remember having a conversation with you about Antifa, but if I did, I should have pointed out that violence will not get you what you politically want.  I don't need to go through where I agree or disagree with each movement or political figure, If they ever  call for martial law and suspension of the constitution I expect all of their peers, the press and all citizens to condemn their rhetoric. That is non negotiable.

So another group has similar rhetoric, is that proof the WH is considering it as per your assertion?

 

As to the ad hominin attack, that is uncalled for.  You asked me to condemn the rhetoric, I did.  You did not (condemning the violence is not the same as condemning the rhetoric).

It is not hard to look around the underbelly of the internet and in certain circles to find people who take it seriously and are repeating it. I do not think the WH is considering it. I certainly think though that Trump himself would be perfectly fine with such actions occurring. That should concern people.
