I would like to know your opinion about my case, in 2015 I went to the USA with a tourist visa and became illegal after the six months that gave me permanence expired, in July 2019 I had a fight with my ex boyfriend Gabriel , he attacked me, in which I called the police and we were both taken to the police station, when we arrived there, they checked my status and saw that we were both illegal, we ended up in Nj's immigration, I was stuck in immigration for two months and I managed  prove in thecriminal court that I was a victim, they gave me a bail of 20k, paid and was released.  during all that happened my current boyfriend Manoj helped me in the whole process, including he was responsible for the bail and was as my responsible, as Iwas illegal for 4 years and six months, I had not yet married my fiance and did not fit me in  they gave me three months to be able to leave the country, we looked for several lawyers and everyone did not recommend us to get married quickly because I would have to return to Brazil the same way and wait for the process, I left immigration in September and lived together with  my fiancé until march 2020 when i came back to brazil, in july he hired another immigration lawyer (we researched a lot) he was one of the ones with the best reference and we started the fiance visa.  I looked on this page for a case similar to mine but I didn't find, from your experience, what is your opinion?  thank you!

You have incurred a 10 year ban, and will need a waiver.  There is a waiver forum here on VisaJourney where you can find similar stories.  It is good that you have an immigration attorney.

Good that you have a lawyer. sounds like you were given 3 months to leave and did not?
