I applied in December 17th, 2020 and did my interview in Las Vegas, today. The interview was smooth and easy and the officer was friendly and approved my application after interview and said, will put me in the oath ceremony list. When I got home, I had several notifications from USCIS and noticed the oath ceremony is scheduled for February 17th and posted under documents tab. I'm so glad the whole process of my immigration is over and hope the same for all you guys here.

I got interview date on Valentine's Day! Finally.... i hope it's same day oath, cos I booked passport appointment with my local post office the day after.

I don't know if it's related but that's one day after I wrote to the senator that I got the USCIS interview notice.

Nice one. Big congrats. I'm still in limbo.

What did the senator's office say? As the USCIS site still says 4 months for me, I would imagine they'll tell me to call back in May.

No I haven’t. I called the courts to ask if they’d have a list of dates where they will be holding the ceremonies but they don’t know anything either. They should have transitioned to same day oaths after the pandemic hit :(

Nothing. Just an automated email reply that they got my form and will let me know any outcome.

I filed 12/20/20.. In the last 2 days, my USCIS account states my estimated time until case decision was

21 days, then i checked yesterday, it shows 20 days until case decision....   And today ,i t changed and showed 6 months..

This is frustrating.. as others who filed way after us already got their oath taking completed..

MY GC is set to expire at the end of March and I will need to get a stamp for 1 yr extension and that process/appointment is also lengthy.

=(

I'm sorry, Dee Bee.

And mine went from 3 months to 8 months.

Now I'm going to have to get ANOTHER GC stamp as I already extended for 1 year.

Not cool!

This is bullshit. I wrote to my senator's office.

Initially I was supposed to be naturalized in March 2021, then June, then October, then May 2022. Then today my completion date jumped to October 2022. My greencard expired in June '21 and I got a stamp in my UK passport that gave me an extension to June '22 (I applied for naturalization more than 6 months before my card expired) so now I have to go through that rigmarole again and am not sure that another extension is even possible.

I work for an international company who, now the virus is abating somewhat, have mentioned that I may have some international travel to make as part of my job and this makes it way harder to commit to what my employer wants me to do. Other folks who applied earlier than me in the Portland Oregon office have had their cases successfully completed and I'm just sitting in limbo.

I get that the virus has made things take longer than usual, but this continuous moving of the goal posts on behalf of USCIS is very disheartening and seems punitive to me.

I'll let you all know if I have any luck.
