we are november 17 filers. not a word, when they will start charging our credit card still. be paitient. it will not move until next year at least.

Oh for sure, I'm not expecting anything for at least a month. I just want to make sure there's enough in my account when the deposit the check! I'll be incredibly frustrated if that check is cashed immediately following my rent check, for example. We didn't have this issue with AOS, they took our money ASAP.

Hey guys! News from us waiting for the same boat in the November thread: A couple of us had checks finally cashed. Our packages were received by Phoenix lockbox 11/13.

They seemed to have an unexplained pause in processing payments for a couple weeks after they were done with 11/12. Now it seems to be moving again although at a 🐢 speed. So if you sent your packages early December, you are probably still at least 3 weeks from NOA 😕

Hello,

My window began December 28th, 2020. We sent my documents via UPS on 12/28 and UPS says is was delivered the follow day, 12/29.

However, I have not received an e-notification (is that what they call lock box?) or any emails/texts at this point. Do you think that’s because of holidays? Any thoughts?

I’m filing jointly with my spouse. I originally entered the US on an L1-A.

For the groups knowledge here’s what we sent:

  • Form G-1145 (request for e-notification)
  • Form G-1450 (authorizing a credit card transaction for the filing fee of $680.00)
  • Form I-751
  • Copy of my permanent resident card
  • Copy of our apartment rental agreement with joint occupancy
  • Copies of statements from our joint checking and savings accounts
  • Copy of the car insurance policy, showing joint coverage
  • Copy of our renter’s insurance, showing joint coverage
  • Three sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friends, attesting to our relationship and marriage
  • Photographs of us together on various trips and from our day-to-day life.

Hey guys! I will be a January filler. What is it that the affidavit letters have in them?

Also on page 1 for the USCIS online account number I actually made o line account but do not see any numbers in there? Is it only if I was submitting info in the website that a number would show up?

Good question! I had the same issue when sending our package in November. I just couldn't find the USCIS account number (since it's NOT the A number) so in the applicable field on the I-751 form I wrote either None or N/A (can't remember which).

Now that I received my NOA, I logged on the USCIS account and manually added the paper-filed case number.

Hello.

I'm really a November filer as I filed 30th November 2020, but it was stuck in transit for weeks! It was finally delivered on 26th December! My green card expires January 22nd as does my driving license. I can't tell you how stressed I was and still am. I know it's been the holidays so not expecting anything anytime soon. It's just glad it was delivered. How long is the wait time to recieve something back? I'm worried about renewing my driving license as it expires the same day.

One more question from me. Are the passport like pictures only if you are in the military or everyone should include them in their applications?

I did asked a similar question but was told no passport picture or birth certificate is required (No idea about military) .
