Congrats! We are mid-late November at LIN and were notified today as well! Glad to see that mid-late Nov through December block finally getting some movement.

11/02/2016 - RFE Reply sent

11/21/2016 - NVC Receives packet

12/12/2016 - Case left NVC for BKK Consulate

01/10/2017 - After travelling via the slowest route possible (likely via carrier pigeon) BKK Consulate receives packet

01/16/2017 - Packet 3 Instructions received 02/28/2017 - Packet 3 Instructions Completed

03/05/2017 - Packet 4 received (now the fun begins) --> 03/29/2017 - Interview disappears from the schedule on the embassy website -->03/30/2017 - She goes to her interview, is told they need to verify her documents since she is Vietnamese interviewing in Thailand, receives a 221G with 'Verification of Viet documents' as the reason. Gave back her passport.-->03/31/2017-04/04/2017 - Case is being continuously touched. We suspect that our case was approved at this point but they didn't have her passport. --> 04/10/2017 (10 days after interview) - Email emabssy to inquire about updates and if there was anything we could do to move things forward. (3h later) - She is told that she is approved and to expect her passport soon (how when they don't have it in their posession?) After clarification, instructed to send our passport to them. Ship out passport in a rush to beat Songkran (which failed) --> 04/11/2017 - Passport at embassy according to Thai Post Office --> 04/17/2017 - Emailed to confirm they received the passport. They issued an evasive answer about Songkran backlog (they love evasive non-committal answers)--> 04/24/2017  Evening - Case changes from Immigrant Visa to Non-Immigrant Visa and a new case created date is given --? 04/25/2017 morning  (less than 12h later) - Case flies through Ready -->Admin Processing --> Issued

04/26/2017 - Checks mail, passport is there. No mention of it being mailed out. 

05/02/2017 - Arrives in the USA, without Issue

06/17/2017 - Marriage!

Great to see some update at LIN service center. My case was received on December 10th, awaiting update from LIN center still.

 

by the way, what does " show fingerprints were taken" means? No need to get new biometrics?

10/23/2017: Married with USC wife at AL.

02/21/2018: Priority Date, AOS from F1

02/25/2018: 4 NOA's received in Mail (I-130, I-131, I-485 and I-765)

03/12/2018: Biometrics Appointment

03/25/2018: Courtesy letter for I-693, Medical Exam was outdated.

05/22/2018: InfoPass Appointment. Created SR request to expedite for I-765.
06/05/2018: Expedite request was accepted. Received Combo EAD
02/07/2019: Received Conditional GC
12/10/2020: Applied for Removal of GC conditions
01/19/2021: NOA received. PR status has extended for 18 more months!

05/28/2021: Biometrics Waiver letter received

I think it means that fingerprints were waived because I didn’t get any appointment for taking my fingerprints!

This is correct, it means the fingerprints on file were applied to your current packet (aka they were waived)!

Make sure you check both egov.uscis.gov and my.uscis.gov to see if you got an update. Several people in the November thread hadn't received an update email yet but checked their account after my post and discovered theirs were waived as well. One person literally checked this morning and there was no update but they checked again after my post and low and behold, theirs was waived too.

My wife got a letter from USCIS today that stated that they were going to use her biometrics that were already on record. It said that she won't have to attend a biometrics appointment.

MEETING

April 7th, 2017: Met Maricel in a Facebook group created by a friend of mine.

May 17th, 2017: Flying to Manila to see Maricel for the first time.

May 18th, 2017: Met Maricel at the airport in Manila.

May 24th, 2017: Proposed to Maricel and got engaged.

May 30th, 2017: Returned to the USA from the Philippines.

January 25th, 2018: Next trip to the Philippines! Chicago-Taipei-Manila

February 6th, 2018: Return back to the US

April 9th, 2018: Next trip to the Philippines, this time to spend time with Maricel's family and bring her back to the USA!

April 18th, 2018: Departing the Philippines for the USA! POE: Chicago, Illinois

June 16th, 2018: Wedding day!

I-129F / K1 VISA APPLICATION PROCESS

June 1st, 2017: Completed and mailed the I-129f package.

June 6th, 2017: Received NOA1. Petition routed to the California Service Center

September 14th, 2017: Maricel attended her morning CFO seminar in Manila.

December 31st, 2017: Received RFE from USCIS - Needed G325a from both of us.

January 5th, 2018: Mailed back RFE reply

January 8th, 2018: California Service Center received our RFE reply.

January 23rd, 2018: Received NOA2!

We just got the same status, and the letter in the mail. We're also LIN service center.

I got approved today♥️😀 i arrived on a k1 originally and now living happily ever after with my beautiful wife in California 

December 7th 2020 they received it

April 30th 2021 fingerprints was waived 

June 11th 2021 approved and new card ordered

Got approved today SRC.

Received December 23, 2020.

March 8 fingerprints was waived.

Approved June 16.

Card being produced.

I'm the January filer but wanted to let the LIN filers know that I surprisingly got approved in 5 months yesterday. Hope the change is coming for all the rest of LIN filers!

ROC:  Received Jan 25 2021    NOA 1: February 25 2021 (LIN/Nebraska).    BIOMETRICS: April 30  2021
APPROVED: June 23 2021     CARD DELIVERED:   June 30 2021
AOS:          Received Date:  April 2      NOA 1:  April 5 2018
Biometrics:  April 27  Fingerprint Review Was Completed:  April 30
Case Ready to be scheduled: May 3 ( that update only showed up in August! after being notified about EAD&AP )
EAD&AP  We approved your case:  August 8   /  In the mailbox:  August 16 2018
Interview   -    March 14 2019    ( Notice Date:  February 1)  -   Approved!
