It's looking like a 5-6 week average to get the NOA. Sit tight...it'll come :)

Question for those who know: is the service center the address in the lower left of the NOA1? (Nebraska, in my case)

Ok, I figured it out. This does seem to be correct, but you can also derive it from the first three letters of the receipt number, the codes are in the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1UmCPGDCa8Ffjbc0X-tHb1tNRjRz0IYVWmhT6q4jU53k/edit#gid=424873866

Our check was cashed on 1/20, received our NOA today 1/25.  Our packet was delivered on 12/15, so we may be fortunate.  Progress nonetheless!

Thats good to know it could be any day now then 🤞🤞

Good morning VJ'ers.

I just got my NOA

I mailed mine on Dec 9th and received on Dec 15th.

Cash was checked on Friday Jan 22nd.

Got NOA through mail yesterday (1/25).

Being handled by Potomac Service Center.

So for any of you who sent your package around that date, keep your eyes open. NOA should be coming at any moment.

I should also mention, we filed late! My wife's Green Card expired on 10/25/20. But I sent a letter explaining the reasons (Covid, wife is pregnant, my job, etc...). The NOA says they extended my wife's Residency for 18 months and we just have to wait now. So all seems good as of now. (Fingers crossed)

05/12/21 - NOA2 "Name was updated"

11/15/21 - NOA3 Resident status extended for 24 months (expires Oct 10/24/22)

No other communication. Waiting....

Technically you didn't file late. You have up to the day the green card expires to have the packet postmarked. My husbands green card expired Dec 21st, and we mailed our joint petition on Dec 13th. We have no reason as to why we didn't file as soon as the window opened, but it shouldn't matter anyways. As long as it gets there before expiration. I was stressed enough because he didn't help much putting it together, yet it's his status that was in jeopardy.

Thanks Tab.

I think you misread my dates. Her GC expired on 10/25/20. I mailed it on 12/9/20. So I'm about over a month late. I've read in many places that if you can provide a good reason they will still go ahead and proceed with the application. So I'm hoping this is the case with me.

Mailed i-751 package on 12/16/2020. via FedEx.

Package received at Phoenix, Az lockbox (and signed for) on 12/17.

Called USCIS for follow up on 1/7/2021. They hadn't input my case in the system yet. Requested a follow-up call for an appointment with field office.

Received a call back from USCIS yesterday (1/25/2021) saying they have input my case and gave me my receipt number. Agent said my NOA had been mailed on 1/22/2021 and I should receive it within 14 days. Agent did not give me an InfoPass appointment (he said due to lack of availability at COVID field office due to COVID).

My check has not been cashed yet and I got no email/text notification (even after submitting the relevant form requesting those).

Guys, this process is so inconsistent 😕

Guys, this process is so inconsistent 😕

Your dates were well within their updated processing times. It's taking 6-8 weeks (and longer as per the November ROC group) to get the NOA 1/extension letter. But our letter was mailed out 4 days before the check cleared, so that was a bit bazaar. It seems those getting the email/test notification are getting them a week or two after the letter in the mail.
