Mine was received on December 8th Arizona lock box, check hasnt been cashed yet.

I called USCIC and was able to speak to an agent; However, they created some kind of request for my case. They did not tell me if NOA was sent or nothing about process.

I am devastated

For those of you whose checks that were just cashed recently, did you receive your paper NOA in the mail yet? I know they haven't been sending out texts and e-mails so I'm not worried about that. I'm more interested in the paper NOA/extension letter 😃

It looks like they're cashing checks for that now from reading the posts.

If you want to talk to a USCIS agent, say "technical problem" to the voicemail machine. It will direct you to customer service. 

 

I found out that my NOA was just sent yesterday and I got my receipt number. Woohoo!!!

Thank you for this.  Spent way too long earlier trying to get through.  My application was received Dec 4, checked with bank and check has not yet been cashed.  Started to go in a panic it was lost and remembered this group and luckily now I can see they are just taking a long time.

Here's a quick update to my own question... I called USCIS at 1-800-375-5283. Initially, I said 'no receipt number' and then the system asked follow-up question so I said 'technical problem' and was redirected to an agent. Had to wait 3 minutes which didn't matter because I spoke to a human agent as I wanted to.  Agent Johnny had to verify my details such as:

1. A-number
2. first name, last name
3. date of birth
4. address

Upon verification, I just told him I sent in I-751 paperwork in December 2020, check was cashed on January 15, 2021 and that I haven't received my NOA. He confirmed that my check was indeed cashed on January 15, 2021 and the receipt was sent out on the same day (haha I am sure it has not left the building yet because nothing showed up on my USPS Informed Delivery account).

 

He gave me the receipt number, I repeated it back, thanked him and was going to hang up. He then said he needed to log the call so he asked for my phone number and also asked if I would like to provide my e-mail address. Gave both things to him and said our goodbyes. 

 

So yes fellow filers, if your check has been cashed and you want your receipt number before receiving your paper NOA, just call and ask for it 😉

I used not to know visajourney. This time round USCIS processing is so slow and made me anxious. I am so glad and appreciative that you guys are sharing on this forum!! My package was delivered to the lockbox on 12/12/20, and my check just got cashed over night on 1/22/21!!
