TOS and Politics

When I joined VJ, I was surprised to see that VJ allows political discussions.  Most forums do not.  I don't mind it, as long as the discussions are civil, but that is why most forums ban them.  Civility often goes out the window.

 

What does bother me is that some members seem to have joined only to post their political views.  Or perhaps they created a second account just for posting politics.

 

I understand that creating a second account is allowed under the TOS, but as I understand the TOS, that is for privacy on visa related matters, not just to post politics.

1.  if it bothers you, avoid the forum. 

2.  accounts are monitored for duplicate accounts. 

3.  should one need a second account for privacy, members should notify the mod team to preclude negative action

toward both accounts.
