1. Do we need to file an amendment on the application information for his  location change with his employer? 

 

2. Praying we get the approval on January 5th, but I’m concerned about how we update his address for his packet to come given that the interview has already been scheduled.

Congratulations. I have updated you. No you don't to update your I-864 unless it's money. There's no amendment.

 

What packet are you referring to. There's nothing he needs to carry or pick up.

Not his Visa. That stamp in this passport is is Temp green card stamp. It's the 551 stamp. That and his SS# is all he needs for job, bank account, drivers license.

 

The visa was voided the minute he landed. Your husband is a Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) now.

Not his Visa. That was voided the minute he land. It's his 551 Temp green card stamp in his passport that's good for a year.

He can work forever he is a LPR (Legal Permanent Resident).

yes its very disturbing, we thought we are about to receive our IL soon , but when we called NVC then we got to know about this system glitch.

No I didn't receive any other email.

but our case was transferred there around 4 months ago and we also received our confirmation at that time.

So my wife was called for an interview for tommorow. They said they will send a letter but didn't what should we do?
