Hello I have nearly completed my Online N-400 Application and am to the evidence part. I just wanted to just get a 2nd opinion before I finish the application.

The following below are the files I will upload. All are in PDF format. I hope the following is enough.

Question: How many months of bank statements do they need?

1st Page:

Green Card - I uploaded 2 PDF files of the Permanent Resident Card ( Front and Back)

Marriage Certificate - PDF of our Marriage Certificate

2nd Page (Additional Evidence they requested):

Tax Documents of 3 Years: I submitted IRS Transcript for 2017 and 2018; for 2019 I uploaded the full tax return because I could not download transcript.

Evidence of Your Spouse's Citizenship. - Copy of US Passport

Evidence of Your Marriage - Joint Bank Account Statements, Son's US Birth Certificate, and IRS transcript and Tax Return

Evidence of Your Children - Son's US Birth Certificate

Additional Evidence - None

Should I add anything else or is this sufficient?

Thank you.

I would add wills and Power of Attorneys.

I am sorry, I do not follow. How does wills and power of attorneys have any role in N400 Citizenship evidence?

From what I have read from the VJ guide, VJ Forums, and USCIS website, there is no such recommendation, besides I do not have will or power of attorney.

If you are filing based on the 3 year rule, then it is proof of ongoing relationship with your spouse. If you are filing based on 5 year, then I wouldn't include it.,

Does anyone know how many months of bank statements should I include?

I can download the monthly PDF statements from the banks website.

You do not need wills and power of attorneys. You can also add joint lease or mortgage information, joint utility bills showing same address. These are all extras, though, you have covered the basics.

You do need all months of bank statements (since ROC). Download as many as you can from the bank's website.

ok Thank so much for the tip, but I already submitted the application last night so it would before Dec 1.

I was not sure what to do and could not get reply yesterday, so I uploaded last 6 months + 1st month for 2017, 2018, 2019 to show that we have been living together and it would not too many files.

On each statements it shows both of our names, date, our home address, and activity.

Should I upload the remaining bank statements?

Smart move. I believe there is an additional documents section you can upload them to. If you can't, I would not worry about it. If they need them, they will ask for them. I would still download them all from the bank's website though, just in case, sometimes there is a time limit how far back you can go.

Good luck with the wait now!
