Greetings to everyone, hope we enjoyed our holidays...I have a quick question. I filed certificate of citizenship for my minor son (LPR) online on November 1, 2020. His file was approved after 21days and I was happy about that. ordinarily, I believe he should have biometric before oath ceremony/cert collection, but Oath was scheduled for Dec 16 while biometric for Dec 17. I am confused. I need some advice on how to best handle this. If I should let Oath/biometric go as scheduled or otherwise.

Thank you.

When was the last time they did any bio for him? My under 14 daughter did not have to do oath (she did have to come with to collect the certificate) but did have to do bio for the picture on her certificate. So it seems odd to have it scheduled later as it is definitely needed first... but unless there is a number to call to clarify (or maybe a tier 2 on the uscis helpline can help) I would certainly attend both scheduled interviews. Hopefully the FO is not too far for you if you need to go back.

He arrived US with IR2...2yrs ago. He hasn’t done nothing about biometric. This would be his first biometric in the US.
