Hello! A newbie here. Im in DS260 stage and civil docs preparation for my EB3 Visa. Im from the Philippines, I have a concern in regards to my marriage certificate as there is discrepancy in my residential address. The town/city that appeared apparently was not my present address. We hired somebody elae to facilitate the needed requirements for the civil wedding. I think they have to put the said town (although It wasnt really my present address) since our marriage license was applied into there. Looking back, I used to live there in my sister’s house for roughly 4months only wayback 2014 then transferred to my current address now which is a different city. Will I face any problem during my embassy interview? Do i have to apply for affidavit of discrepancy? Will highly appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you so much!

Greetings!

Hello, This may help: Registration of Application for Marriage License | Philippine Statistics Authority (psa.gov.ph)

After registering to get married, read his part:

7. The license shall be valid in any part of the Philippines for a period of one hundred twenty days from the date of issue, and shall be deemed automatically cancelled at the expiration of said period if the contracting parties have not made use of it.

The city of marriage is not important to the CO. Just that you have a marriage certificate that can substantiate your marriage. No need to do anything.

If you would like more information there is a sub-forum for the Philippines where others who have "boots on the ground" knowledge could lend a helping hand.
