Change of address form

I am having trouble with the change of address form since we are overseas. How do I write the country I am in if the form only lets you write a state? Would it be ok to write the country under the “state” box? Also it asks for a 5 digit zip code but the zip code is only 4 numbers so I can’t file online.

Are you in the country under military orders?  Is there no military address affiliated to where you're currently living?

Yes. Do you mean my APO address? It’s asks for both mailing and physical address and I didn’t think I could use the apo address as physical address

Not saying you're wrong but I believe you can.  I did the same thing when I was Stationed in Yokosuka, JP.  Also, will you be there just temporarily?

We will be here for 3 years. I think I will use my APO address then, I wasn’t sure I could do that but I can’t think of another solution 😅

That's the easiest to go, since it's still an American address.
