Did you update your address with USCIS all three times that you moved? If your answer is yes then you put your last address and then your most recent address for the update.. it's really quite simple!👍

Well that is the complexity here - I updated every time with Vermont, not with NBC.
However, I have a random "we received your correspondence and reviewing it" on my I485 which is at NBC around one of the times when I updated my address with Vermont.
So, I basically do not know what address is currently on my 485 with NBC, so I don't know what to put as old address when changing.
The question is - is there a way to find out my current address on pending 485 with NBC or no ?

I'm sure they'll share that information with your congressman so do give them a ring!📞

I'm just saying in other words that your I-360 has been approved if there were any questions or doubts, Vermont would have been the ones to come for you not the officer at your local office also what I mean is that the officers are trained on the dynamics of this petition so they are expected to know how it goes and the complexities that comes with each case! Rest easy girl!😊👍

Thank you so much @Stillwinning!!!😊

Hello All,

I have a pressing issue right now. The thing is I filed for EAD renewal at the beginning of January, but I am expecting a rejection soon because I did not accompany the file with a fee or a fee waiver form. The fee was waived for me initially for the entire package (I-485 inclusive), so I was convinced that I would not need to include any fee for the EAD renewal. Curiosity, however, made me read posts here and there , and I realized I was wrong. Because USCIS notice of receipt or denial usually takes quite a long time, I am afraid I will miss the benefit of 180-day extension in the event that they return my file, and I cannot timely submit another one.

What can I do in this situation? File a new one with the appropriate fee before the rejection arrives or wait to see if file they will accept my form. Also, what is the filing fee?

NOTE:

My EAD renewal package includes, among other things, the pending I-485 and I-765 notices with the latter carrying a message of a fee waiver.

It’s fee free with pending I-360 and I-485

I think you need to talk to a counselor about your current anxiety and stressors.

Thank you @Pinkrlion, probably i will have to do that i have never go to a counselor besides The House Of Roughs i did a few session with them. Unfortunately for the past few years i have been told that im nothing and that im a dirty immigrant and that the best thing that happen to me is meeting my ex and getting marry to him and that im lucky enough that h allowed me to stay here, and if i want to continue to be safe in this country i should listen to him and do as he ask and saying since he knows better since he is an American Citizen and if i don't do that i will regret it i will be send back to my 3 world country where i will be raped and killed. That if i call the police or ask for help i will be deported since im an immigrant and no-one cares about people like me and and that he is the best thing that will ever happen to me. And for long time i believed that and i was thinking that im the one that is doing something wrong. I was assaulted by him multiple times from him and never called the comps from fear of deportation, he finally got charged with second degree assault when his parents were witness to one of his outbreaks and called the cops.  So i want to apologies for mu stupid question it is just a lot that i have been told and made to believe

Honestly I've been holding off commenting on this because I feel like it would be for the one millionth time! As long as you're in good standing you have nothing to worry about especially as you have an approved vawa but if there's a specific concern that you believe will make the outcome of your interview unfavorable, feel free to share with us so we can proffer suggestions/solutions! For your second question, marriage based interview is adjudicated differently from the VAWA based interview.. the former is clearly based on marriage while the latter is based on an approved i-360 (Abuse victim).. for the marriage based interview, the officer is basically trying to make sure there is no marriage fraud for immigration benefits while the i360 interview focuses more on admissibility issues this is so since you already have an approved i-360!😊👍

Thank you @Stillwinning!!!😊, your words are always such a beacon of hope, and i apologizes for my stupid question i have nothing to hide and i never lied to immigration it is just all the thing that i was told and made to believe that will happen to me i was always told that if it wasn't for him i will be deported, r...d killed or worst if i ask for help or if i don't do as he was asking. And that my American Citizen spouse is the only one that will keep me safe and that im lucky to have him and for me to have the privileges to stay here i have to listen and do as im told.

The officer  will ask the questions that you  answered YES or NO(form I-485). Yes the interview is different when  based on marriage.

Mental abuse is a pattern  involving humiliation, isolation, degradation, threats etc..

Thank you @sandranj you are my beacon in the dark, sorry for the stupid question, but since i was told and made believe that when i go for my interview i will be deported since im not with my spouse, and since he contacted immigration and told them that im a fake and an abuser, that i manipulated and lied my way just to get a green car, which wasn't true thats why i always worried what may or may not happen. Idk what to say without going in to details about what happen to me in the past 5 years since it was so much, from 4 restraining orders multiple violation of those RO, he hired a Private Investigator to locate me and stoke me, to basing on my door saying ICE is with him and i better let him in if i know whats good for me, from him saying how he is going to kill me harm me deport me and how i will suffer tha raft of his justice and how bad things will happen to me if i don't consider getting back together or by doin what he is asking.

And i did she is going to consult with a lawyer but she is trying to do everything without his knowledge, since he has control over her phone and internet access. Thank you @Stillwinning!!!😊   you are one amazing person ❤️☺️☺️

@sandranj @Stillwinning!!!😊 please can any of you help answer this. I have a pending vawa and i485 with fee waiver for both. My attorney recently sent my EAD renewal to Chicago IL without any fee and I am yet to hear back from USCIS. I raised my concern that I was supposed to pay for EAD renewal and today he said we will send another I 765 with the fee. My question is which office is he suppose to send it to ? Is it Vermont or Chicago il. Also the first I 765 was sent this month to Chicago without fee, should I resend another one with fee and to which office

thanks

Hello everyone. I have a pending i485 which i rescheduled. Now that I have left my home. Will ny ead be cancelled. If i file vawa now when is it likely that i can get ead . Because someone told me it could take up to 2 years to get ead under pending vawa approval is that true? Hardship was the major reason i went back the first time. Please I need help and guidelines on how to do the proper thing. I don't have a great financial back up here .I rescheduled my interview last week. Please how do i keep my i485 open till vawa approval. And is it possible to renew my ead if i file vawa and I don't get ead early? Please help me out. Also I heard your case is not strong if you never called the cops. And I just have 2 witnesses. I read up about evaluations here. Does it really help? Because i did some research and called some centers and it is pretty expensive for me so I want to make sure it is worth it. God bless you as you  reply.
