What happens when your vawa is not approved why outside the country? Will they allow you in?

Hello House

please I need an answer and if anyone can help it will be appreciated.
So I’m trying to go back to school for my Licensing Practical Nursing and I just spoke to a school and I was told because I don’t have a green card or US citizen I can’t enroll for nursing and since I also came in with a visitors visa ( even though I have a valid EAD ) I don’t qualify for nursing program. Is this true?

ps: I’m in New Jersey

Same thing happened to me too.

The advisor at the school told me that I have to have GC to even start a nursing program.

I live in Illinois.

If you’re in removal proceedings don’t do it,  it’s a self deportation, and more over make sure to check COVID-19 restrictions.

Congratulations on your combo card! You definitely are able to travel even when your case is still pending as long as you didn't file for Asylum and you're not in any deportation proceedings, no outstanding warrants, you're good have a safe trip!😊👍

You may need to verify directly with the college they do work with Non-U.S. Citizens, and qualified aliens (battered immigrant VAWA) which we fall on the category  but you need your Prima Facie. You can write to Vermont Service Center and request your prima facie, my friend did it and they sent it to her, even thought they did not at the beginning.

I will write Vermont again and request it and hopefully they send it this time cos the last time I did I never got a response but I noticed some weeks ago my status online changed to “Correspondence was received and Uscis is reviewing it” so I will try again .

Thank you so much , I appreciate it
