Will be praying for you bro!🙏

So I just heard back from my attorney. She spoke to USCIS officer in OKC. They told her they accidentally scheduled the interview in OKC since my attorney is in OKC. They said they dont even have my file in OKC. The Dallas office has my file. The officer in OKC emailed the Dallas office to see if they can schedule my interview now. Let's see what happens 😓

They will not cancel your I-360, but there are several points you should consider. Once your spouse sponsor you then your VAWA will not be valid anymore, if he will not sponsor you then you should have a good explanation why he will not sponsor you.  Your future  spouse must be a U.S Citizen or  he should have his GC at least  5 years. I hope you are not getting married to someone that you started dating less than 14/18months ago, it's a recipe for  disaster.

Hello Sandraj,

Thanks for the input. I wanted to have a follow up on your response.

I know him from my childhood, he knows everything about me, my abuse and the VAWA petition, he is a very close family friend. He is currently on F1 visa been in the US around 6 months, doing his Medical School. I could provide a good reason to USCIS saying that he cant sponsor me because doesnt have a GC or citizenship.

Can you clarify this statement "Your future  spouse must be a U.S Citizen or  he should have his GC at least  5 years" Do you mean I cant marry a F1( non immigrant) and sponsor him if my 485 gets approved, as of now my i-360 is approved only. Is there a wait time for me to sponsor him a GC after my i485 gets approved., considering everything goes well. If you can please shed some light on this, this will really help. The anxiety from the waiting game for my i-485 is killing me.

Good evening vj family i just got a letter from the USCIS that my file is at the local office and it is waiting to be scheduled for an interview, and for some reason my lawyer scheduled a info pass appointment for me this Friday for a case update, should i attend the info pass and what may happen if i go there i don't want to make them angry or something that will lead to denial. Can someone advice i mean im trying to get in contact with my attorney but she is not responding ??

It's past time for a lawyer joke:

Lawyer (handing $100 to client who had been awarded $500):  There's the balance after deducting my fee.

Client:  I'm wondering who got hit by the car -- you, or me?

This is so funny and at the same time im sure that someone can relay to that :)

Well since your case is at the local office you probably have little to worry about.. but then your lawyer already scheduled an infopass😳 you don't have to attend if you don't want to but I'll say just go for the sake of going and probably you have other concerns that can be addressed take advantage of that.. nobody's going to be mad at you and deny your case lol no, that's not how it works you are there to seek closure and they have to address your issues/concerns!😊👍

This is just an infopass not an interview I wouldn't advise you to go with the Medicals so it doesn't get lost in transition or something like that I only advise to get Medicals done when you have an interview date.. that way you don't waste money unnecessarily!👍
