@BergamoHi buddy :luv:

Lawyer sent my RFE response to USCIS on Dec 7 2020

Status updated on Dec 30th - on Saturday of all days!!!

Nothing since :(

So for me it took 23 days. Hang on, dear! Your update is near. Just remember, after waiting for this update it could take another year until we hear about our cases again. Be strong!!! 💪🙌😘

BTW I've got a paper stimulus check from IRS on Mon Jan 4th. As far as I know, whoever did not get a deposit or a check, can subtract the amount when doing tax return. If you did not file return for 2018, 2019 or won't file 2020, there was a way to sign up on IRS account and request the payment. Check online exactly what's best the situation that applies to you. Can't wait to hear someone brag  here with success stories 🤓

On another note, any recent EAD/combos approved?

PD 7/24/2020 initial full package

Bio 11/30/2020 Philly

Thanks in advance, Fam! May the approvals be with you! 🤩

Oh honey, believe me, I have noticed because I was so close to the Inquire dare. They have almost doubeld the inquiry time and someone like me, who checks all the time not to worry about it:) Who do tou think I am!?!? Hahahahahaha No initial EAD, nothing to do besides slowly going crazy😂 and it shows 🤣

Joke aside, I really hope they did extend timing, so people will pause sending 'Out of processing time' requests and could concentrate on actual work. I reeeeeeaaaaaly hope this is the case.

Keep faith, my dear! All is coming! Sending you lots of hugs and patience 🤗💖

Hi, I am glad this forum exists to help guide people like me on steps to take towards finding a solution to my situation. I am in the process of filing the VAWA , but I do not know what documents to provide as evidence to support my case.

I have lived in US for 5 years and I have been married for a little over a year. We got married in 2019 and filed the I-485 in 2019. My marriage has been difficult and in shambles for the longest time. My Green Card interview is on Monday. But things have been so bad between us... I do not know where my husband is and I am homeless at the moment.

I made up my mind this week to file the VAWA, but I do not know how to go about initiating the process and the documentation to provide as evidence. Also, my husband and I have limited documentation together. The only documents with both our names on it is our Marriage License and the 2019 tax document.

Is there anyone who can guide me in regards to documents to provide in support of my application? Also, what should I expect for 'No Show' interview status? In addition to that, can I possibly use a P.O. Box to get my letters pending when I have a physical address? Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi guys I'm not a frequent person here on this site I just browse through occasionally. But I had to leave my info here so persons will feel encouraged and know that their time of approval is coming. Just stay strong and don't just depend on your lawyers to push your case for you because you are just another case that they have even though they maybe trying their best to assist you. Reach out to your representatives because they'll assist you. Just google your nearest representatives their information will come up! Wishing everyone a speedy approval.

Field Office - Federal Plaza NY NY

No Interview

Feb 2018 - submitted i-360, i-485, i-765

Sept 2019 - i-360 approved.

July 2020 -  Reached out to a NY Senator to assist me got back an email couple days after from her office saying there is an officer reviewing my file and they will make a decision in my case within 90 days which they didn't.

Dec 3, 2020 - RFE for i-693 medical, which I didn't get in the mail but by email from USCIS for me to submit it before March 2 2021 after I reached out to every congressman/senator in NY for assistance which they replied.

Dec 9, 2020 - i-693 medical submitted.

Dec 30, 2020 - Update on my online status i-485 card went into production. First update on case since submitted!

Dec 31, 2020 - I-485 approved

Hello, how do I speak to uscis representative? I kept calling their number, but it doesn’t want to transfer me.

Hello, i tried calling uscis helpline in December but there was no option to reach live agent. Also even if you get to talk to someone, agents are not allowed to provide any information for vawa applicants. So please reach out to congressman if you have a pressing issue. I haven’t had luck getting information on Emma chat for the same vawa privacy policy.

Good Morning everyone , I had my I-485 interview this morning . The IO did not take the ead or any documents . He gave me a letter of interview results that a decision cannot yet be made on your I-485 application at this time : further review of your application /relating file is necessary to determine eligibility .

he gave me the letter and said we need to do your background check . And you will get the decision within few weeks .

In my interview everything went well in my view . I had to take oath . There was no question about spouse . Just asked me question from I-485 . I gave all the answers correctly.  And also asked for my divorce decree and attached that with his file .

that’s all.

I am not sure what usually happens here ? Has anybody heard about this or encountered this situation ? Or can they deny application?  I am really stressed because can not predict what’s going on .

Looks like your interview went smooth. You should be receiving approval soon 😊
