Hi i have a situation my attorney tell me today uscis denied my i 485 becuz of not appear for interview back in oct 5 2020 but we never got letter from uscis

Time line I 360 apply in oct 2018

Approved i 360 August 2020 can someone help wht to do next

are you using the same lawyer you used when filed with spouse?  Likely not. The interview notice must have gone to new layer.

to save time in the end:
File a new I-485

if you can’t afford a new 485 at the moment, then it’s a good idea to try resolve this another way if possible

Does he have to pay the filing fee again if he files a new i485? Or he is going to use the receipt for the old one as proof of payment. I may need to file a new i485 too

Hello all,

I am trying to renew my EAD. Do I have to pay for this renewal? Please who has recently renewed their EAD through I-485 filed with vawa application.

If you have a pending I-485 there is no fee to renew the EAD. If you paid the fee for I-485, if you filed with a fee waiver then I believe you have to pay for renewal of EAD/AP.
Make sure you send a copy of the NOA from the I-485 with your renewal package

Like @Ana FL said you do not have to pay for renewal if you have pending i-485 and paid for i-485.

Hey there hun! Nice! At least we can keep each other posted about the progress of our cases. I’ve received I-693 deficiency notice which is the medical. It was clearly specified that if I get the mail for interview, I’ll take it with me. If I get thr gc by mail without interview then USCIS will send RFE and further instructions. Also, it’s stated to not send in the mail now because it might cause a delay in my case. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️
