I wouldn't recommend going down the VAWA COR route unless you are literally unable to adjust in other way (e.g. due to some bar that COR can overcome) or because you missed the 2 year after divorce window for filing I-360, or because you were never married to the abuser and instead are claiming eligibility through a mutual child that was abused by a USC/LPR parent.

If you are still married or within the 2 year window file I-360. If you are in removal proceedings the judge might require you to file I-485 with the court and then just keep granting continuances until a decision on the I-360 is made.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.

I really appreciate the response. Honestly I am wondering if it best I just wait until the court date in April, that's when I have my MCH. My I-485 was administratively closed due to the removal proceedings.

My lawyer received card in 10 days. Tracking number was posted in online status. You should receive your card soon. But please expect some delays due to delays with USPS processing 👍

@PayingForward Which website did you use that showed the tracking number in the online status? Could you share the link?

Mine just said "Card was mailed" without any tracking number. I have might been using a website which isn't that great.

Thank you very much!!!

I just got an update yesterday: card was mailed. However, there is no tracking number or anything.

I wonder if there is someone got their tracking number when the green card was mailed. And what kind of website did you use to get that information? Please share the link.

I appreciate your help!!!

It is weird that I used the same one you showed me. For my EAD card renewal in April, it did show a tracking number. But later when they mailed me another EAD card in August when my VAWA was approved, they didn't show  a tracking number in the status...

Maybe they will send you another notice with a tracking number once the post office picks up your card. At least that’s how it works with my C31.

Hey @sandranj. Thank you for answering my questions. Since i am in immigration proceedings with master hearing coming in April 2021 and with pending i360 and since I sent my i485 to IRVING tx(it was for fee payment purposes), do I have to send another i485 to Vermont? Or USCIS irving tx will transfer that i485 to Vermont for processing? What should do in this case?

i see, we know CIS updates are inconsistent. In your case online status may not provide tracking number. But you should receive the card in couple weeks unless USPS backlog is really bad. The hard part is over and card will be in your hand soon 👍😊
