Thank you so much for getting back to me. Here is my PD:

- May 2020 : I-485; I-765; I-131; I-360 filed

- June 2020: I-485 package rejected

- August 2020: NOA for I-485; I-765; I-131

-August 2020 : RFE I-360

-Nov 2020: RFE I-360 received by USCIS

- Nov 2020: appointment letters for biometrics and took

- Dec 2020: expedite request for I-765; I-131

- December 23/ 2020: card mailed.

- Dec 2020: I-485 ready to schedule

When I checked my status online it says My I-360 Is at NBC currently. I haven’t ask the question to my attorney yet. For my SSN I requested to receive both at the same time ans I read somewhere here on VJ that one called SSN  and they were able to give the person the number prior him receiving the actual card.

How did you expedite your I765 and I131? What was the reason?

From my personal experience it only takes like a week or two for them to print out and send out a card these days so I doubt you'll have a problem with not getting the green card before the c31 expires.

Thank you for the advice.

Do you know if I can renew my driver's license with the I485 approval notice? Also, will the employer accept the I-485 approval notice as proof of work eligibility? My attorney said yes but I think he is wrong.

I am in a similar situation.
My I485 is in "Ready to be Scheduled" status for 1.5 years now, but it was never transfered to a local office. I485 app is currently at NBC as well, receipt date is around 01OCT2018. Also, FYI I moved 2 times in the last 2 years, so maybe this somehow affect the process of I485 and they keep it at NBC.
I360 still pending with Vermont currently, receipt date 23APR2019. I think they work together and they know that you have pending I360, so there is no point to transfer your I485 to local office to create more problems/workload/delays for the future.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me.

-My I-485 says my case is at my local office.

-My I-360 says my case is currently at NBC. That’s why I so confused because it used to be at Vermont.

I was also very confused as if they work together but you are reassuring me now. This whole process is so weird and stressful. Please how did you do to receive your SSN?

wooow now you scared me, I’m planning on moving out, I hope it will not be a problem for me.

I-765 financial loss ; I-131 medical reason. They also didn’t ask me for any proof it took approximately 15 days for them to approve my combo.

It’s easier if you have an offer letter under financial loss but I didn’t  Have that. I think medical reason is the strongest.

If you're getting EAD renewals, that means your I-485 is still pending your congressman is the one probably thinking that your I-485 is most likely denied...there's no way USCIS will be speculating.. USCIS is immigration they know if it's denied or not because they're the ones who deny or approve! When was your i360 approved again? It's possible that your I-485 isn't in the local office yet but will still go to the local office when USCIS is ready.. so many people had their i-130 denied but the I-485 still pending.. you asked for your I-485 to be held in abeyance right? USCIS should be able to give you that information through your congressperson.. you should specifically ask for that..( if it was held or not also if it is denied or not) You can also try to schedule an infopass. Even if your I-485 is denied you can always file a new one!👍

The letter sent by USCIS incorporated the wordings, "most likely denied". So please guide me in such a situation what should I do?

What do you mean by medical reason? Can you please explain what exactly you did? Did you do it yourself online or you had to mail something? Did you have a lawyer?

1. Medical reason: I said my parent will have a surgery soon. 2. Financial loss: I said I’m struggling and don’t have anything to survive.

i did it myself, I called a tier 1 and made a request.

But note I lost my husband so that might have helped my case but i saw other stories here where when you have an offer letter it’s easier. Medical reason usually works better. Like if you have insurance you need to pay and you don’t have the money, if you have a specific medical condition and need to go to the doctor.

They didn’t ask you for the proof of your parent having surgery?
What offer are you talking about? By financial loss you mean you told them you need EAD in order to find a job and survive?

I thought you can’t expedite I-131 and I-765 yourself if they are at VSC. I thought vawa program is protected and you can’t do anything over the phone. Only need to mail.
