Good evening guys

Just want to share my happiness.

I started my vawa journey on Oct of 2018.

They issued an RFE this year for good moral character and good faith marriage.  I was approved last aug 2020.

Had my AOS interview last Nov 18 of this year.

They just asked me basic demographic data and yes or no questions. It only lasted 15 mins. Ended up with my case being reviewed. Since I left in that room Im anxious to know what the result is.

Im obsessing with refreshing the web browser in my phone to uscis check status.

Today i Got this.

Thank you so much for all the help and suggestions.  This forum is truly God send.

Excited for this new chapter in my life.

Thank you very much for the explanation!!! @Demise

Hey just wanted to add that this advice is true only if you stay unmarried. If you get married before becoming a citizen then it's 5 years, not 3.

Did you have your interview in Houston? How long have you waited since approval?

You could get a copy of your file from USCIS through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) but I would wait till you hear from your attorney before proceeding they probably will send you a copy of your i485. Apart from the greed, it shouldn't be an issue with them!👍

I agree. I have given her till Monday to provide the notices and all my immigration documents . It’s just that my current EAD expires first week in March. I am kinda running behind schedule. If she doesn’t send me anything by Monday, I will go to her office.

While that has a ring of truth to it, it's not entirely true some people who filed by themselves without a lawyer, the mails go straight to them or where they consider as a safe address.. the only reason your mails are coming to your attorney is because he's the one representing you...the attorney on file so if you want to receive anything you need to ask them for copies.👍

I believe they are able to put a stamp on your passport at infopass I also think you're able to use your C31 EAD for now.

Thank you thank you. Do you know if green card update like “card production” or “card shipped” will be under same case number as I-485? Tracking it online but still say “case was approved” only.

Hi Friends,

I’m wondering if anyone has the same timelines as I have regarding my I-751 case: WAC California Center, applied for I-751 abuse waiver in April 2019, in November 2019 had biometrics and since then no movement on the case.
Yesterday I mailed a letter to a Congressman asking for help with inquiring regarding my case...
